FAF Advisors, Inc., is an U.S. asset management firm with more than $98 billion under management/administration in equity, fixed income, and specialty investment strategies as of Dec. 31, 2009. Headquartered in Minneapolis, our firm has more than 300 employees, and our portfolio managers average more than 20 years of industry experience. FAF Advisors serves as the investment advisor to First American Funds.
Products and Services
We provide investors with open-end mutual funds, closed-end funds, separately managed accounts, and sub-advisory services for direct investments and through product intermediaries.
- Funds: As investment advisor to First American Funds, FAF Advisors manages more than 40 open-end mutual funds with more than $74 billion in assets under management as of Dec. 31, 2009, spanning a broad range of asset classes. FAF Advisors also manages more than $1 billion in eight closed-end funds.
- Separately Managed Accounts: FAF Advisors provides separately managed accounts for institutional investors - including corporations, public entities, foundations, endowments, and Taft-Hartley Plans.
- Sub-advisory Services: FAF Advisors provides sub-advisory services for institutional investors - including defined contribution retirement providers, bank trust departments, and financial intermediaries.
